Otega Oweh returns to the Kentucky Wildcats after an impressive first season under Mark Pope. Now he returns to Lexington as a superstar and potentially the SEC Preseason Player of the Year. What a turn of events for the Oklahoma transfer.
Oweh will always have a spot in many of the BBN’s hearts as he was a part of the team last season that took the state and college basketball by storm. Now, he is part of a team that has high hopes of chasing down a championship in the 2025-26 season.
After sitting out the Pro Day activities to continue healing up from his toe injury, the senior guard has some high praise for this team as we are weeks away from game one.
“When you have a good team around you, obviously everything feels good…I’m just ready to get going,” said Oweh via KY Insider.
I think I speak for the majority of us when I say we are also excited for the season to get rolling.
