COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Both South Carolina basketball teams are inviting fans to help kick off the season at Colonial Life Arena next week.
The Gamecocks men’s and women’s teams will host the annual “GarNET and Black Madness” on Oct. 21 from 7-9 p.m. The free event, presented in partnership with Gamecock Entertainment, will include fan games, team competitions and a performance from rap artist Waka Flocka Flame.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with team introductions and all-star style competitions starting at 7 p.m. The Waka Flocka Flame performance will follow to close out the event.
USC said free parking will be available starting at 5 p.m. in Lots A and B, located directly in front of Colonial Life Arena. Concessions and alcohol will also be available for purchase at the arena.
