Kevin Durant was involved in the largest trade in NBA history when he got dealt to the Houston Rockets.
Kevin Durant joined the Houston Rockets in exchange for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and a slew of other assets as seven teams and 13 players were involved.
The Phoenix Suns traded for Durant in February 2023 in hopes of winning an NBA Championship.
However, they didn’t come close to accomplishing their goal, only making it out of the first round of the playoffs once with Durant.

With Durant no longer on the Suns roster, the expectations have drastically gone down in Phoenix. They are no longer considered a championship team.
However, despite this the vibes seem to be great and one fan on X said “Suns won the trade! Thank you Kevin Durant.”
Durant responded and didn’t seem to take offense to what was said and actually offered some encouraging words.
No expectations=better vibes. Enjoy the season brother

Kevin Durant responds to another fan who defends him
One Suns fan actually came to the aid of Durant and made it clear to him that he was part of the solution, not the problem.
The fan wrote, “You know that you were much more a part of the solution than the problem, right? Just making that clear. The young people on our team are growing a lot, and a big part of that is having you as a role model. I wish you were still here with this same group. We will miss you.”
Durant responded and said “Love. Preciate ya champ!!”
Even though the Suns aren’t on anyone’s radar this season, they can still be a competitive team.
The last time the Suns went under the radar was when they made an unexpected NBA Finals run in 2021.
