SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs have secured both the 2nd and 14th overall draft picks for the 2025 NBA Draft.

On Monday, the NBA hosted its annual NBA Draft Lottery, which determines which teams will secure the top picks for new players entering the NBA.

The drawing gave the first overall pick to the Dallas Mavericks, with the other Top 4 Picks going to the Charlotte Hornets and the Philadelphia 76ers.

During the 2024 NBA Draft, the Spurs secured both the 4th and 8th overall draft picks, using the opportunity to draft Stephon Castle, who would go on to win 2024 NBA Rookie of the Year.

The previous year, the Spurs drafted Victor Wembanyama with the first overall draft pick. He would also go on to win Rookie of the Year for the 2023 season.
