The third-seeded New York Knicks are scheduled to take on the second-seeded defending NBA Champion Boston Celtics this Monday at 7 p.m. ET in Beantown with a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals on the line.
The Knicks are coming off of a thrilling six-game series win over the Detroit Pistons during which star point guard Jalen Brunson sunk a game-winning three point shot that sent the Detroit faithful to the exits.

Brunson and the Knicks will have their hands full with Celtics forwards Jayson Tatum and 2024 NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown, both of whom are regarded among the best forwards in the game of basketball today.
On Friday, video footage surfaced of the Knicks star Brunson’s epic duel with Tatum in high school during which the duo combined for nearly 90 points.

The X page ‘Big Knick Energy’ shared a highlight of Tatum and Brunson’s duel, during which the future NBA stars would go on to score a combined 87 points.
The video shows Brunson using a similar move to the one he unleashed on Ausar Thompson of the Pistons to win that series.

It also showed Tatum shooting, and hitting, off balance shot after off balance shot, using his familiar high release point to get it off over smaller defenders.
The video serves as a tantalizing preview of what’s to come in Boston this week.
The Knicks are expected to be big underdogs against the Celtics, but stranger things have happened than a potential Knicks upset in the coming series in the world of sports.
