The 2025-26 NBA Season tips off tomorrow night with the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder taking on Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets in OKC, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers squaring off against the Golden State Warriors in LA.
Prior to the Rockets-Thunder matchup, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will share a moment with his teammates they will never forget when they witness a championship banner being raised to the rafters of Paycom Center, along with receiving their championship rings for last year’s Finals victory over the Indiana Pacers.

And yet, a championship ring isn’t the only piece of memorabilia coming SGA’s way this upcoming season, with the NBA and Topps teaming up in a partnership to facilitate a Gold NBA Logoman program.

As per Topps, Gilgeous-Alexander will be one of three NBA award winners from last year who will have the opportunity to wear a Gold NBA Logoman on their uniform, with SGA receiving this honor as a result of his 2024-25 MVP season.
Last season’s Defensive Player of the Year Evan Mobley, and 2024-25 Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle, are the other two players who will have the gold patch emblazoned on their jerseys.
To top it all off, these gold patches that are set to be worn during games will then be included inside ultra rare trading cards.

This season will also see each rookie wear a jersey with an NBA debut patch for the first game of their career. These rookie patches will be taken out and signed by the first year player after their debut outings, before they are then put in a one of one rookie card that will also be numbered, as per ESPN.
As for the Gold NBA Logoman patches, they sure are an iconic and memorable way to recognize the stellar accomplishments of SGA, Evan Mobley and Stephon Castle.
