Former Marquette University men’s basketball guard Kam Jones was arrested Monday by Indiana State Police. According to an affidavit, officers arrested the 23-year-old after a brief chase through Indianapolis. The affidavit said state police tried pulling Jones over after he was traveling 40 miles per hour above the posted speed limit. Jones is a rookie for the Indiana Pacers. According to the affidavit, Jones told police he did not know he was speeding and was running late for Pacers’ practice. Jones finished his career at Marquette as the program’s second all-time leading scorer.
