NEW YORK (WYMT) – The Associated Press released their preseason top 25 rankings for the upcoming NCAA Men’s Basketball season on Monday.
Purdue tops the poll with Houston ranked No. 2. Reigning national champion Florida comes in at No. 3., followed by Connecticut and St. John’s, led by former Kentucky coach Rick Pitino.
The Kentucky Wildcats check in at No. 9. Louisville is ranked just outside the top ten at No. 11.
John Calipari’s Arkansas Razorbacks occupy the 14th spot. Other SEC teams include Alabama (No. 15), Tennessee (No. 18), and Auburn (No. 20).
