Kendrick Perkins has heaped praise on an OKC Thunder player after his brilliant performance in Game 4 against the Denver Nuggets.
After going down in the series, the OKC Thunder needed a big response in Game 4 to give themselves a chance to turn things around.
In what was a low-scoring first half, Thunder scored only 45 points where they went 3-11 from three-point range.
NBA fans also reacted to Jalen Williams’ poor performance as he had only nine points after a big night in Game 3.
At one point in the third quarter, the Denver Nuggets even took a six-point lead in the game, but the young Thunder team showed their resilience and pulled things back in the fourth quarter.
The Thunder ended the game shooting only 24.4% from beyond the arc, with Lu Dort being the only starter who scored a three-pointer.
However, the players on the bench did a brilliant job shooting, especially Cason Wallace, who made all three of his attempts from deep in the 92-87 win for the Thunder.
His performance helped him earn praise from former Thunder player Kendrick Perkins.

Wallace played a total of 22:34 minutes and ended the night with 11 points, five boards and two steals.
He was brilliant on the defensive end as well and was +11 in Game 4, only behind Aaron Wiggins, who also came off the bench.
Wallace also did a great job not fouling after he got into foul trouble before the clutch period.
Perkins, who is a big admirer of the Thunder team, was putting out tweets on X during the game and one of those was for Wallace.
He tweeted: “I really like this young man Cason Wallace. He’s a Pitbull.”

OKC Thunder’s bench showed up in Game 4
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the scoring for the Thunder with 25 points on 42% shooting from the field.
No other starter made it past 10 points and despite that, the team managed to get a win.
This was due to the brilliant job the Thunder bench did on the night.
Three players came off the bench and scored in double figures to help the team out massively.
Out of the 10 threes the Thunder made, eight were by the players on the bench.

Sofa Score’s momentum graphic shows how OKC had the lead for most of Game 4, with Denver briefly leading at the end of the third before the Thunder regained the advantage.
The Nuggets also missed 10 free throws, proving critical in a tight game, with OKC only missing six.
This was a performance where the whole team had to step up, especially with Jalen Williams shooting 2-13.
The likes of Alex Caruso, Aaron Wiggins and Wallace have all stepped up to the challenge of the playoffs and put up some great performances for the team.
Although the team is young, they have the talent it takes to perform on the big stage and that has been visible in the playoffs.
Perkins called out players on the Thunder for their lack of aggressiveness earlier in the series.
While that problem has not been solved, they will be glad the series is 2-2 going into Game 5 at the Paycom Center.
