We got overtime again, late night basketball wants to make sure that none of us get to our bed, uh, at a reasonable hour.

We get a big win for the Warriors over the Nuggets, 137, 131 in overtime.

You see Steph right there, 42 points in a big night full of big shots.

Steph, uh, had the, what looked like the game-tying shot with about 4 seconds left.

There was a shot for Jokic to try and win this thing at the end of regulation, but he couldn’t get it to fall.

Eric Gordon, by the way, had a career-high 50, including 7 for 7 in the first half from downtown.

Absolutely wild night, 10 to 11 from long range.

So absolutely wild night from him, but it just wasn’t enough.

In fact, Jokic also with the triple-double, you mentioned history earlier, I should mention Jokic with the triple-double, uh, becomes only the 2nd player in NBA history to have 4 triple-doubles on opening nights across his career.

So absolutely huge night.

The stars start out.

That’s what this really came down to.

The Warriors and the Nuggets showed us exactly what’s gonna make the West must-watch basketball night in and night out for the entire season because there is no one thing that you can look at and say, well, if this guy had done that, then maybe the outcome would be different.

No, this was just absolute career nights.

This was absolute balling out in every possible way.
