The Philadelphia 76ers are dealing with a couple of injuries to begin the 2025-26 season. Nothing as serious as the previous year, but some smaller bumps and bruises that need to be taken care of here in the early going.

Dominick Barlow, a key piece of this Sixers team here at the outset of the season, suffered a right elbow laceration in the first half of Saturday’s win over the Charlotte Hornets. He was ruled out for the rest of the game and the Sixers had to piece it together down the stretch to earn a win.

On Sunday, the Sixers announced that Barlow will undergo a procedure to take care of the wound and will miss Monday’s game against the Orlando Magic and Tuesday’s contest with the Washington Wizards. He will be re-evaluated before Friday’s NBA Cup matchup with the Boston Celtics.

With Barlow out, the Sixers will need Jabari Walker to step up and produce for Philadelphia in his place.
