The Detroit Pistons need to rebound in a big way after an embarrassing loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where basically nothing went right. They face the Orlando Magic, a team, like them, that is young, hungry, and looking to take the next step toward being a perennial playoff team and a threat. They are similarly struggling as they look to sort out their own set of offensive issues. The Pistons looked like they would be down yet another key player, with Ausar Thompson questionable due to illness. It looks like he’ll be giving it a go. That is great news and to add a bit more cheer, it looks like Caris LeVert will also be suiting up. The Pistons have been pretty thin, lacked ball handlers, and have been unable to hit shots when they turn to a largely bench lineup. There is a chance that LeVert could help in all three of those areas. Honestly, he’ll need to.
