SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The Utah Jazz introduced a “fresh twist” to their 2025-26 City Edition jerseys by bringing back a fan-favorite design but with a monochrome color palate.

The new city edition jerseys go back to the familiar design of the red rock City Edition jerseys used from 2017 to 2020 as part of NBA’s “City Edition Remix” campaign.

However, the yellow to orange gradient has been reimagined into a “Midnight Black” greyscale design accented with a sky blue trim shaped in the design from Salt Lake City to St. George and Salt Lake City to Moab.

The team said the design was inspired by Utah’s rugged mountain landscape, much like the 2017 City Edition jerseys were inspired by southern Utah’s red rock.

“Over the next two seasons, we’re bringing back a fan-favorite design with a fresh, modern twist,” said Chris Barney, Smith Entertainment Group’s president of revenue and commercial strategy. “This City Edition jersey celebrates Utah’s signature mountain landscapes and the spirit of Mountain Basketball, blending the team’s history with a bold new look.”

Utah Jazz will wear the new City Edition jerseys during five games in the regular season, according to the team. In addition to debuting the jerseys in the Nov. 11 home game against the Indiana Pacers, the jerseys will be worn on Dec. 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jan. 8 against the Dallas Mavericks, Feb. 12 against the Portland Trail Blazers and March 23 against the Toronto Raptors.

Fans will be able to get their hands on new jerseys start Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. both online and at in-person at the Delta Center team store.
