Oklahoma City Thunder superstar and reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s home was burglarized on Thursday night when the Thunder were hosting the Washington Wizards, per KOCO News.

According to the report, the suspects fled before police arrived.

Thankfully, the former Kentucky Wildcats star was not home during the break-in on Thursday evening, as no one was reportedly home at the time.

There was a heavy police presence in the Nichols Hills neighborhood following the break-in. Oklahoma City’s general manager, Sam Presti, was spotted at the scene of the crime late Thursday night. Presti was making sure everything was okay with his $273 million superstar.

SGA is the latest professional athlete whose home has been burglarized, joining NFL star Joe Burrow and Travis Kelce, among a few others. Police announced on Thursday night, after the break-in, that no arrests had been made and said there was no reason to believe the public was in any danger.
