POLICE SAY WHILE THERE IS NO THREAT TO THE PUBLIC, NICHOLS HILLS POLICE OFFICERS WILL BE PATROLLING NEIGHBORHOODS TONIGHT FOR HALLOWEEN FESTIVITIES AS WELL AS FOR THE COMING WEEKS. INVESTIGATORS SPOTTED AT THE HOUSE OF AN NBA MVP FRIDAY, SOURCES CONFIRMING TWO KOCO FRIDAY. THE HOME OF OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER SUPERSTAR SHAE GILGEOUS ALEXANDER WAS BROKEN INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. NICHOLS HILLS POLICE PROVIDED LIMITED DETAILS CONFIRMING THE CALL CAME IN AROUND 745. WHEN THEY ARRIVED, THE BURGLARS WERE ALREADY GONE. OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE HELPED OUT BY FLYING THEIR HELICOPTER OVER THE AREA. INVESTIGATORS WERE SEEN OUTSIDE THE HOME FRIDAY MORNING. WE DID NOT SEE ANY DAMAGE LIKE SMASHED WINDOWS TO THE HOME. NONE OF HIS NEIGHBORS WERE INTERESTED IN SPEAKING ON CAMERA. WE DID REACH OUT TO THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER TODAY. THEY REFERRED US TO NICHOLS HILLS POLICE CHIEF. I DID ASK THE DEPARTMENT IF THERE WAS ANY DAMAGE TO GILGEOUS ALEXANDER’S HOME, OR IF ANYTHING WAS STOLEN. THEY SAID THAT INFORMATION ISN’T AVAILABLE. I ALSO DID REACH OUT TO OSBI AND THE FBI, AND THEY BOTH TELL ME THEY ARE NOT INVOLVED IN THIS ACTIVE, ONGOING INVESTIGATION. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ASKED TO CONTACT NICHOLS HILLS.

Detectives are investigating a burglary at the home of NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in Nichols Hills, which occurred while he was playing against the Washington Wizards.

Oklahoma City police also responded with their helicopter. Investigators visited the home earlier Friday, where there was a heavy presence of detectives, but no visible damage, such as broken windows, was observed. Neighbors were not interested in speaking on camera, and the police department is only giving basic information.No arrests have been made yet, and police said there is no threat to the public. However, there will be extra police presence throughout the area Friday night during Halloween festivities and in the coming weeks. The Oklahoma City Thunder referred inquiries to Nichols Hills police Chief Steven Cox, and both the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the FBI said they are not part of the investigation at this time. Detectives spent the day investigating a burglary at the Nichols Hills home of NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, which occurred during his game against the Washington Wizards.

The burglary call came in at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, while Gilgeous-Alexander and the rest of the team were taking on the Washington Wizards about 16 minutes away in the Paycom Center.
Police said that when they arrived at the house, the suspects had already fled the area.
Oklahoma City police also responded with their helicopter.
