Spooky season has ended and the season of thanks is upon us. The Detroit Pistons have offered fans plenty to be thankful for and scared of. Cade Cunningham’s ability to take over a game. Thankful. Cade Cunningham struggling from deep and with overall efficiency AGAIN. Frightening. The unrelenting and attacking nature of young players like Ron Holland and Ausar Thompson. So thankful. That being a focal point of so many offensive possessions? I’m scared.
Today, though, we can be thankful to see the Pistons get another national TV spotlight, though it’s late (10 p.m. ET), overseas (Mexico City), and on a streaming app that is not burning up the download charts (Peacock). The Pistons will be facing a Mavericks team without Anthony Davis, who is resting a lower leg injury, and the Pistons should have a full complement of players save for Jaden Ivey and Marcus Sasser.
