TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —The College of Southern Idaho men’s and women’s basketball teams improved to 2-0 with dominate victories in their second games of the season.
The CSI women defeated Central Wyoming College 80-30, shooting 46% from the field with three players reaching double figures.
Savannah Stoker led the Golden Eagles with 18 points and seven steals. Maci Hess added 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Naomi Senato finished with 12 points.
CSI’s defense held the Rustlers to 29% shooting from the field.
The men’s team defeated the College of Southern Nevada 103-73, with Ace Reiser recording a triple-double of 13 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists.
Four other Golden Eagles reached double figures in scoring. Jalen Lyn and Cooper Kesler each added 20 points, while Gerry Guerrero and Guyustone Kasenga contributed 10 points apiece.
CSI outrebounded the Coyotes 55-36, using their size advantage in the paint.
