How did the Boston Celtics lose to to the Utah Jazz? The Celtics fell 105-103 at home to the lowly Jazz despite being a more talented and experienced ball club even in their current reduced state while the ball club retools in the absence of star forward Jayson Tatum. Simply put, this should not have happened to Boston, so what was the cause behind it?
For one thing, the Celtics had a historically bad night from beyond the arc (as in, no one has ever done worse with at least 50 attempts). And for another, the team did not exactly get a friendly whistle, especially late in the fourth with the game in the balance. And as per usual, rebounding and defensive mistakes compounded the issue.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over. Check it out below!
