The OKC Thunder will continue the 2025-26 NBA season with a road game against the Portland Trail Blazers at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

OKC (8-0) remained undefeated with a 126-107 road win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday. The Thunder is off to its best start to a season in franchise history.

Portland (4-3) fell short in a 123-115 home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday. That snapped a three-game winning streak by the Trail Blazers.

Portland began to turn things around at the end of last season, and it has carried over that momentum. The Trail Blazers are 4-3 this time around thanks in large part to their stout defense. From Jrue Holiday to Toumani Camara to Deni Avdija, they’ll have no shortage of options to throw at Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. And they have a strong rim protector in Donovan Clingan. I’m picking Portland to beat OKC, which could be even more short-handed than usual on the second night of a back to back.
