In year two under Kim Caldwell, Lady Vols basketball is asking a lot out of its freshman class. Tennessee brought in five high school recruits, all of whom were top-60 recruits in the nation.

In the season-opening 80-77 loss to NC State, the talents of the class were on full display. Four of the freshmen got on the floor and three played a good bit and made a significant impact. With Ruby Whitehorn dismissed from the team, this group is tasked with picking up some of that slack.
