Stage is set for finale of the Western Conference Semifinals playoff series between the OKC Thunder and Denver Nuggets. Denver pulled off a 119-107 win in Game 6 to force a Game 7 on Sunday. It will be a highly-anticipated clash of the week and both teams would look to confirm the WCF berth.
Oklahoma City had a golden chance to wrap up the series on Thursday but failed to counter Denver’s team effort. The Thunder were shooting 11-for-40 from 3-point range in Game 6 and were also outplayed on rebounds. If Thunder get out, it would be a rare occasion in playoff history when top seeds in both conferences and the defending champions faced elimination in the second round.
