Oklahoma opened its season with a 102-66 win over the Saint Francis Red Flash. The Sooners got 18 points from Kuol Atak while three players, Xzavier Brown, Nijel Pack, and Mohamed Wague, added 16 each, with Wague also pulling down 10 rebounds. Tae Davis had 14 points and eight rebounds.
Gonzaga began its season on Monday with a 98-43 win over SWAC program Texas Southern. Tyon Grant-Foster led the way with 15 points while Graham Ike had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Braden Huff, Adam Miller, and Davis Fogle all scored in double figures as well in Monday’s victory.
