Will one of the Boston Celtics or Orlando Magic solve their early-season woes in the next two games? The Celtics and the Magic will take the court at Kia Center this Friday (Nov. 7) night to play a tilt that is included in the 2025 NBA Cup schedule slate, and then will follow that game up two days later on Sunday (Nov. 9) for a rematch outside the strictures of the NBA Cup tourney as part of a home-and-home series played with Orlando this season.

Ahead of those games, both the Celtics and the Magic have had some strange shooting slumps and defensive concerns that have held each of the two teams back. For Boston, that’s not the end of the world in a retooling season, but Orlando invested heavily this offseason to make the team better. Could these games be the test for the Magic’s new, faster-paced style of play?

The hosts of “Havlicek Stole the Pod” took some time to talk it all over with Rookie Wire editor Cody Taylor on a recent episode of their pod. Check it out below!
