Giannis and Kyle Kuzma speak on the Bucks’ 126-110 win over the Bulls
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kyle Kuzma speak on the Bucks’ 126-110 win over the Bulls on Nov. 7, 2025 at Fiserv Forum.
The Milwaukee Bucks have won two straight games on two different occasions, and they hope to do so for a third time while facing the Houston Rockets this afternoon at Fiserv Forum. The Bucks beat the Chicago Bulls on Nov. 7 whereas the Rockets (5-3) come in having lost to San Antonio on the same date after winning five in a row.
After the loss to the Spurs, Rockets head coach Ime Udoka said, “They were a tougher team, kind of punked us out there and out-hustled us.” So, it would be fair to assume Houston will come into the game with a certain kind of intensity.
It is the first game of a back-to-back for the Bucks (6-3), who head to Dallas to face former head coach Jason Kidd on Nov. 10.
Is Giannis playing?
Most likely. The MVP candidate is listed as probable to play with pain in his left knee. He did miss one game this season after beginning the day as probable, however, on Oct. 30 vs. Golden State.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Alperen Sengun had social media dustup at EuroBasket
Over the summer, Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece) and Alperen Şengün (Turkey) represented their respective countries in EuroBasket, the largest and most important international basketball tournament across the Atlantic.
On Sept. 12, Turkey defeated Greece 94-68, and afterward Şengün posted a comment on social media that was interpreted as a reference to the burning of the city of Smyrna (modern Izmir) in 1922 at the end of the Greco-Turkish War. In an on-camera interview in English, Şengün also said Antetokounmpo was not a great passer.
Antetokounmpo and Greece national team coach Vassilis Spanoulis responded directly to the latter comment, with Antetokounmpo choosing not to reference the Rockets center by name and Spanoulis calling Şengün a “very, very small kid to talk about Giannis.”
Following Greece’s bronze medal victory Antetokounmpo went live on a social media platform and viewers began posting Turkish flags, prompting the Bucks’ star to say, “Take the (expletive) Turkish flag out of here.”
A few days later, on Sept. 16, the two players then posted simultaneous social media apologies for their comments and a photo of them hugging.
