A sizeable test is ahead for the Memphis Grizzlies.

After a win over the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 7 snapped a four-game losing streak, Memphis will host the Oklahoma City Thunder at FedExForum on Nov. 9.

The Grizzlies (4-6) saw signs of improvement in their last game after a week of struggles. Jaylen Wells and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope shot the ball better, Ja Morant recorded a double-double and Cedric Coward continued his upward trajectory with 21 points and nine rebounds.

Oklahoma City (9-1) has been a juggernaut to start the season. The defending champions only have one loss in part because of their stifling defense that paces the NBA.

The Thunder will be without wings Jalen Williams (wrist surgery recovery) and Aaron Wiggins (abductor strain). Santi Aldama was added to the Grizzlies’ injury report on Nov. 8. He’s questionable to play due to left shoulder soreness.

Memphis has struggled against the Thunder since 2023. The Grizzlies have lost nine straight meetings in the season series. That doesn’t include being swept in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs last season.
