College basketball: Career highs 29 and 9 for Juke in Wake Forest win

WINSTON-SALEM — Sophomore Juke Harris (Salisbury) posted career highs of 29 points and nine rebounds to lead Wake Forest to an 81-65 win against Morehead State on Friday.
Harris scored 18 in a season-opening win against American and was even better in the Deacon’s second game.
The 6-foot-7 guard shot the ball really well, 10-for-15, with 3-for-5 on 3-pointers. He did most of his damage in the paint. He added two steals, one block and one assist.
Harris played 32 minutes. The only blemish on his stat sheet was five turnovers.
The Deacons (2-0) will play No. 7 Michigan (1-0) on Tuesday in a game to be televised on FS1. Tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. from Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit.
Michigan scored 121 in its opening game. Former UNC guard Elliot Cadeau plays for the Wolverines.
