The Toronto Raptors fell to 5-5 after Saturday’s 130-120 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers. Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid combined for 60 points to improve the 76ers’ record to 6-3.
Brandon Ingram posted 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the 37 minutes played, but couldn’t push Toronto toward a win. However, he made the headlines after the game.

Ingram’s frustrated outburst became the highlight of Saturday, and he should be bracing for a fine from the league.
After Toronto got a delay-of-game call from the refs, Ingram, sitting on the bench, threw his bottle on the court. It bounced and hit a staff member in the face, splashing water everywhere and soaking teammate Scottie Barnes.
Despite the incident, there wasn’t any apologetic gesture from the star, drawing ridicule and criticism from the fans.

“Grown man throwing a tantrum, then having other adults clean up his mess 🤦🏾♂️” a fan wrote.
“Incoming fine,” another chimed in.
“Your making millions and millions of dollars and having a tantrum like this bro control yourself that team assistant didn’t deserve that that’s why this league has became so soft,” one wrote.

Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram (3) shoots in front of Philadelphia 76ers forward Trendon Watford (12) during the third quarter.
“The fact that he sat there afterwards instead of even attempting to help just makes it worse,” a fan pointed out.
“Smh great example of entitlement. Not even a my bad. Just letting him clean up his mess like that,” one fan expressed.

“Bro out here throwing tantrums like a child 😂,” someone said.
Usually the league starts with a small amount in case of a singular occurrence, amounting to $5,000 or more. In cases of repeated unsportsmanlike conduct, the fine can increase manyfold.
