Jordan Walsh has not had it easy finding floor time to develop with the Boston Celtics since they drafted him out of Arkansas, the Texan wing struggling to earn floor time with a team contending for titles. Then, with star Boston forward Jayson Tatum out for much if not all of the 2025-26 NBA regular season and a talent exodus triggered in the offseason that saw Jrue Holiday, Al Horford, Luke Kornet, and Kristaps Porzingis join other teams via trade or free agency, Walsh had a golden opportunity — only to get hurt in preseason play.
But Walsh has kept at it despite the setbacks he’s dealt with over the years, and delivered one of his best games as a Celtic against the Orlando Magic in Boston’s 11-107 road win this past Sunday (Nov. 9). Even though his counting stats were not as high as in some other outings, he hit the game-winning 3 while putting up 6 points, as many rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.
The man behind the “Nik NBA” YouTube channel put together a clip of Walsh’s game against Orlando for us to get a better idea of what went right for Walsh. Check it out below!
