Luka Garza had perhaps his best game yet with the Boston Celtics in their 111-107 road win over the Orlando Magic. Putting up 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal off the bench in 17 minutes of playing time (including some critical crunch time play after starting big man Neemias Queta fouled out), Garza showed he can impact winning with Boston on Sunday (Nov. 9) night at Kia Center.

The backup Boston big was asked if he ever gets into a “flow zone” — a unique state of consciousness basketball players can arrive in where everything seems to slow down and come easier — postgame, which seemed to pique his attention. “I think every game is different,” he explained via CLNS Media.

“But there are certain games where you feel like the energy that you’re bringing to the court — the ball is just attracted to that,” added Garza. “And it just finds its way to you. “

You just crash and do whatever you can to put yourselves in a good spot,” said the Celtics center. “And, obviously, rebounding is all about timing and a little bit of luck with where the ball bounces.”

“So I try to do my best at putting myself in the best position every single time down. And when it comes to me, I may be able to go get it. And if it doesn’t, it doesn’t.”
