The Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Detroit Pistons 114-105 on Friday night as they fell to 0-2 in NBA Cup play which seriously dwindles their chances at advancing to the knockout rounds. The Sixers led by 12 in the second half, but the Pistons dug deep to rally and win their ninth straight game.
As Philadelphia moves forward now, it has two games left in group play. The Sixers will host the Orlando Magic on Nov. 25 before facing the Brooklyn Nets on Nov. 28 to finish up the group stage. Unfortunately for them, being 0-2 and with the point differential they have, it isn’t looking good at the moment.
