Now that Wyc Grousbeck is no longer the lead owner of the Boston Celtics following its record $6.1 billion sale, the billionaire and his spouse, Emilia Fazzalari, may be spending more time in the Hamptons.

That’s where they just paid a grand $58 million for a modern beach mansion, Gimme Shelter has learned exclusively.

The oceanfront estate, at 165 Surfside Drive in Bridgehampton, was built in 2024. It first asked $79.99 last year and was last asking $69.99 million.

The seller is celebrity developer Joe Farrell, who owns nearby 155 Surfside, which had once been on the market for $125 million.

“Just imagine the parties they could throw!” quipped one broker who’s familiar with both homes.

Grousbeck led the purchase of the Celtics for $360 million in 2002. He says he will still be involved, as he still has shares in the organization, and wants to see more championship wins.

The home at 165 Surfside sits on 1.24 acres, with 125 feet on the ocean. Built by Farrell Companies and designed by Will Minnear Architect, the 8,600-square-foot residence features eight bedrooms, 8.5 baths — and a 4,400-square-foot rooftop entertaining space with a putting green.

The main floor is anchored by a great room and an adjacent chef’s kitchen. There’s also an oceanfront bedroom suite that opens to the pool terrace, while an additional upstairs main bedroom suite comes with a private lounge or office, dual dressing rooms and a spa-like bath.

Six more bedroom suites open to outdoor space.

Outside, there’s an infinity-edge pool and a heated six-car garage.

Compass broker Richard Steinberg, who declined to comment, represented Grousbeck, in collaboration with Greg Gould and Dominic Couzens of Hedgerow; it was an open listing. The sale itself was first reported by Behind the Hedges.

Farrell, for his part, paid $17 million for a new construction oceanfront home in Montauk, at 42 Deforest Road, a Ditch Plains neighborhood record.
