Ja Morant is expected to miss several weeks for the Memphis Grizzlies due to a calf injury.

He’s missed three games so far this season … but the calf injury will extend that much further.

Morant went 2-for-2 from the field and 3-for-4 from the free-throw line for seven points in six minutes of play during the opening period against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday before leaving with the injury. He then missed Tuesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs.

The guard also missed a game against the Boston Celtics last week due to right ankle soreness and was suspended by the team for a game earlier this month.

Is Ja Morant playing today?

No. Morant is expected to miss his second straight game when the Memphis Grizzlies host the Sacramento Kings on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. ET.
