Do the Boston Celtics need to shoot more 3-point shots? Such a question would have seemed ludicrous at best for the team behind “Mazzulla Ball” (as the Boston head coach’s preferred, 3-point heavy style of play has become known) as recently as the start of the season, before the Celtics took a step back from being the top ball club in the NBA when it comes to launching shots from beyond the arc.

But the exit of tested long-distance marksmen from the roster like Jrue Holiday, Al Horford, and Kristaps Porzingis has left Boston with a less tested roster when it comes to stroking it from deep, and the team has needed a boost on some nights in terms of generating offense. Should this version of the Celtics actually be shooting more treys than they have been?

The folks behind the “WEEI Boston Sports Original” YouTube channel put together a clip taking a closer look at the possibility. Check it out below!
