The 2-14 Indiana Pacers will host the 14-2 Detroit Pistons on Monday night at 7 p.m. ET. Both teams already went head-to-head once on Nov. 17, 127-112 victory for the Pistons.

While the Pacers are struggling greatly this season and rank near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, the Pistons are moving in the complete opposite direction. A month into the season, Detroit has a 2.5-game cushion as the No. 1 seed in the East, and they have the second-best record in the NBA overall, only behind the 17-1 Oklahoma City Thunder.

Furthermore, the Pistons are currently in the midst of a 12-game winning streak, which is the longest active one in the league.

Bobi Klintman has missed each of Detroit’s last three games and will be inactive against Indiana on Monday due to an ankle injury.

Caris LeVert, who is in the midst of his first season with the Pistons, missed the team’s victory against the Atlanta Hawks last Tuesday due to an ankle sprain. However, he played against Milwaukee, and the former Pacers wing is listed as probably against his former team on Monday. The Pistons have been without Marcus Sasser for the entire season due to a right hip impingement, and he will remain out against Indiana.

Isaac Jones, Wendell Moore Jr., and Tolu Smith will all be out on Monday as they are all on G League assignments.
