The Memphis Grizzlies have won two consecutive games for the first time in the 2025-26 season. If they want to make it three, they’ll have to beat one of the NBA’s top teams.

Memphis (6-11) will play the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 24 at FedExForum. This is the first meeting between the Grizzlies and Nuggets this season

Denver (12-4) has been one of the NBA’s top teams, ranking third in the league in net rating. That ranking is highlighted by an offense that’s ranked third.

Denver’s offense is led by MVP candidate Nikola Jokic. He’s averaging a triple-double, totaling 30.4 points, 13 rebounds and 10.8 assists per game. The rebounds and assists both lead the NBA.

Memphis has gotten strong production from its center spot, too. Zach Edey has averaged 12.3 points and 9.3 rebounds through his first four games.

Edey could get his frontcourt mate Jaren Jackson Jr. back against Denver. Jackson is questionable to play due to a right ankle sprain. He missed the previous two games.

Ja Morant will miss his fourth straight game due to a right calf strain. Memphis will rely on Vince Williams Jr. in a starting role in place of Morant.

Denver is also missing multiple starters. Christian Braun (ankle sprain) and Aaron Gordon (hamstring) won’t play against Memphis.

Denver has won the last two meetings against Memphis. The Grizzlies are 41-68 all-time against the Nuggets.
