The Timberwolves lost again after being up late in the game.
(Sacramento, CA) — The Minnesota Timberwolves wilted down the stretch for the second game in a row during a 117-112 overtime loss to the Sacramento Kings in California. The Wolves led by ten points with three minutes left in regulation before Sacramento went on a 10-0 run to force O-T. Minnesota never led in the extra period. Anthony Edwards poured in 43 points in the losing effort, while Julius Randle had 17 points and 11 rebounds. The meltdown came just three days after Minnesota blew an eight-point lead at Phoenix with around a minute to play. The T-Wolves dropped to 10-7 and lost to a team with a losing record for the first time all season. The Kings improved to 5-13. The Wolves will visit the defending champion Thunder tomorrow night in Oklahoma City at 6:30 P-M.
