The Milwaukee Bucks (8-10) and Miami Heat (12-6) meet Wednesday in an NBA Cup game at Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Bucks vs. Heat odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.
2024-25 season series: Bucks won 4-0
The Bucks lost 115-103 at home Monday night to the Portland Trail Blazers as a 1-point favorite as the Under (231) cashed. F Giannis Antetokounmpo (adductor) missed Monday’s game, and he is listed as questionable for Wednesday. Milwaukee has lost 5 games in a row, while also going 0-5 against the spread (ATS). It is also just 1-8 ATS in the past 9 games, and 2-11 ATS in the previous 13 outings since Nov. 1.
The Heat picked up a 106-102 win over the Dallas Mavericks Monday, just missing the cover as 7.5-point favorites. C Kel’el Ware went for 20 points with 18 rebounds and 3 blocked shots, while G Tyler Herro was good for 24 points in his season debut after recovering from ankle surgery. Miami has won 5 in a row, while going 4-1 ATS, and it is 7-3 ATS across the past 10 outings.

Heat 121, Bucks 112
PASS.
The Heat (-300) will set you back 3 times your potential return, and that’s way too risky for not much of a reward, even using a boost or promo. Even as part of a multi-leg parlay, it’s a way too pricey to include the Heat unless you have a betslip with at least 4 or 5 legs.
The HEAT -7.5 (-115) is worth playing lightly. Miami has posted an impressive 4-1 ATS mark in the past 5 games, while the Bucks are 0-5 ATS in the past 5 outings, and 2-11 ATS in 13 games in November. There is very little reason to trust the Bucks, especially if Antetokounmpo is forced to the shelf again.
The UNDER 237.5 (-110) is the lean in South Florida, but don’t get carried away.
The Heat offense is doing well, posting 125.3 points per game in the past 3 games, cashing the Over twice. With Herro back, Ware playing well, and F/C Bam Adebayo doing a great job in the frontcourt, this offense is humming. Defensively, it is doing well, too, holding the opposition to 113 or fewer in 4 of the past 5 outings.
