On Wednesday, the Portland Trail Blazers (8-10, 2-1) host the San Antonio Spurs (11-5, 1-1) at the Moda Center in the NBA Cup, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Trail Blazers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 115-103 on Monday, finishing 2-1 on their three-game road trip. The group led for nearly the entire contest after holding advantages in 3-pointers (18-13), free throws (25-14) and rebounds (48-39).
Jerami Grant led the Trail Blazers with 35 points, Deni Avdija scored 22 points and five assists and Donovan Clingan added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Avdija has scored 20 or more points in all but two games this season and in 20 of his last 23 games dating to last season.
The Spurs are coming off a 111-102 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday to tip off a four-game West Coast road trip. They carried a seven-point lead into halftime, but were outscored 62-46 after allowing the Suns to shoot 54.5% from the field over the last two quarters.
De’Aaron Fox paced the Spurs with 26 points and five rebounds, Devin Vassell tallied 17 points and Keldon Johnson added 14 points and six rebounds. Fox has scored at least 20 points in five straight games, tied for the fifth-longest active streak in the league.
The Trail Blazers can clinch West Group C and advance to the knockout round of the in-season tournament with a win. Meanwhile, the Spurs can be eliminated from contention with a loss and wins by Memphis, Minnesota or Phoenix.
