In Sunday’s loss to the Suns, De’Aaron Fox led the way for the Spurs as he recorded 26 points and five rebounds while Devin Vassell added 17 points and four rebounds of his own.
Now San Antonio will try to bounce back on Wednesday night on the road in a tough matchup against the Trail Blazers.
On the other side, Portland enters Wednesday’s contest with an 8-10 record after losing on the road to the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.

Jerami Grant led the way for the Trail Blazers in Monday’s loss as he ended the game with 35 points, four rebounds and four assists while Deni Avdija recorded 22 points, four rebounds and five assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Spurs, they have four players listed on their injury report for Wednesday’s game, including superstar center Victor Wembanyama.

San Antonio has ruled out Wembanyama due to a left calf strain as he will miss his fifth consecutive contest.

With Wembanyama still sidelined, Luke Kornet will likely draw another start in his place while Kelly Olynyk could continue to have a larger role off the bench.

The Spurs have also ruled out Jordan McLaughlin and Stephon Castle while rookie Dylan Harper has been upgraded to questionable due to a left calf strain that has sidelined him the last 10 games.

On the other side, the Trail Blazers have six players listed on their injury report, including Shaedon Sharpe.

Portland has listed Sharpe as questionable for Wednesday’s game due to a right calf strain and he is in danger of missing his fifth consecutive contest.

The Trail Blazers have ruled out Jrue Holiday, Scoot Henderson, Blake Wesley, Matisse Thybulle and Damian Lillard as they all continue to recover from injuries.
