OKLAHOMA CITY – The Phoenix Suns conclude a two-game road trip on Friday, Nov. 28, against defending NBA champion Oklahoma City in an NBA Cup West Group A game at Paycom Center.
The 7:30 p.m. game will be televised on Arizona’s Family (3TV) and Arizona’s Family Sports.
The Thunder (18-1) and Suns (12-7) are both 3-0 in West Group A play.
If Phoenix beats Oklahoma City, it’ll win West Group A and host an NBA Cup quarterfinal game. If the Suns lose, they can still clinch a wild-card spot in the West if they have a higher point differential than the Memphis Grizzlies-Los Angeles Clippers winner.
The Suns have a +35, the Grizzlies are at +9 and the Clippers stand at -15. The Grizzlies and Clippers are 2-1 in West Group B behind the 3-0 Los Angeles Lakers.
The Thunder have won 10 in a row while the Suns are coming off a 112-100 victory on Nov. 26 at Sacramento. Phoenix faces Denver in the second of a back-to-back on Nov. 29 at home.
The Suns have ruled out Grayson Allen (right quad contusion), Ryan Dunn (right wrist sprain) and Jalen Green (right hamstring strain) for the game. Thunder All-Star Jalen Williams will make his season debut. He’s been sidelined with a right wrist injury and underwent surgery in the offseason.
