The Oklahoma City Thunder travel on the road to face the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. It’s the third matchup of the season between the squads. They split the first two meetings as OKC won the latest game on Nov. 23.
The Thunder (19-1) have won 11 in a row. They were able to enjoy Jalen Williams’ return with a 123-119 win over the Phoenix Suns on Friday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 37 points and eight assists to collect the important 2025 NBA Cup victory.
Meanwhile, the Trail Blazers (8-11) dropped a 115-102 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. They’ve struggled recently. Deni Avdija’s efficient 37 points weren’t enough to avoid a meltdown.

This game’s pace has slowed down like a snail. Gilgeous-Alexander had one of his worst halves with just 12 points on 4-of-10 shooting. Avdija has gotten to the free-throw line plenty of times with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Portland has won the shot attempt battle so far.
A defensive-heavy first quarter for both sides. Gilgeous-Alexander surprisingly only has two points. But he leveraged his attention to help Joe score nine points. Meanwhile, the Trail Blazers have dominated on the boards to stay close in this one.
The Trail Blazers tie it up after Robert Williams III had the baseline dunk in transition. So far, Portland has dominated on the boards
The Thunder will start Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren. The Trail Blazers will start Sidy Cissoko, Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara, Kris Murray and Jerami Grant.
