Cooper Flagg put on yet another impressive performance on Monday night in the Dallas Mavericks’ win over the Denver Nuggets.
The No. 1 overall pick put up 24 points and added eight rebounds and a pair of assists in the victory over Nikola Jokic and Co.
Flagg and the Mavericks benefited from strong play out of Ryan Nembhard, who had 28 points and 10 assists alongside his fellow rookie.
The win gave Dallas consecutive victories for the first time this season. Flagg and the Mavs have two tough tests incoming this week against the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder.
If they play well in that game as well, Dallas might have something to work with to jump back into the Western Conference playoff spots.
