NBA season giving thanks
For Thanksgiving, we talked about all the things we’re thankful for this NBA season.
The New York Knicks look to keep their winning streak alive as they take on the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.
The Knicks (13-6) are currently on a four-game winning streak and own the second best record in the Eastern Conference, trailing only the Detroit Pistons (16-4), who are only behind the Oklahoma City Thunder (20-1) for the best record in the NBA already a quarter of the way through the regular season.
It’s New York’s second of four head-to-head meetings against Boston this season, with the Knicks coming out on top 105-95 in the first matchup back on Oct. 24, the second game of the regular season for both teams.
Following tonight’s game at TD Garden, the Knicks will head back for a three-game homestand this week before heading north of the border to face the Toronto Raptors (14-7) in the NBA Cup quarterfinals at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9 from Scotiabank Arena.
The winner of the Knicks-Raptors NBA Cup semifinal game will then head to Las Vegas on Saturday, Dec. 13 to play the winner of the quarterfinal matchup between Miami Heat vs. Orlando Magic, which takes at 6 p.m. prior to Knicks-Raptors on Dec. 9.
Meanwhile, it’s been an up-and-down start for the Celtics (11-9), although they most recently went into Cleveland and upset the Cavaliers as 7.5-point road underdogs in a 117-115 victory on Monday night.
