In doing so, Ryan created a record for himself within the league. He became the first-ever point guard in the NBA to record 25+ points with 10+ assists and 0 turnovers.Not only this, but the player also became the first-ever undrafted player to do so. Ryan is now also the first-ever rookie of any status to have racked up that score since Stephon Marbury did it in 1996. Ryan is the brother of Andrew Nembhard, who plays for the Indiana Pacers. Andrew was drafted by the Pacers in 2022.

This made him the first-ever point guard in NBA history to rack up 25+ points with 10+ assists and no turnovers.According to MavsPR on X, Ryan recorded as the first undrafted rookie player in the modern draft era since 1967 to record 25+ points with 10 assists with no turnovers. He is also the first rookie of any status to have a 25-10-0 game since Stephon Marbury in 1996. Ryan’s achievement received accolades from both fellow teammates and fans across the internet. Anthony was one of the first teammates who stood up and gave the entire win credit to the undrafted rookie. In a post-game interview, the Mavericks star stated, “Ryan Nembhard, man. He carried us.” He further added, “Making big shots. Big plays. Making the right reads to the right guys. Passing on the Hutton to our shooters. He definitely got the game ball tonight.”Despite being undrafted, Ryan continues to break records and make new ones. Having played just a few games, the player has established his capabilities.
