I am thinking about the Boston Celtics, and I’ve been thinking about the Boston Celtics.
For a while now.
What is this team?
Who is this team?
They’ve never lost more than three games in a row this year.
They have yet to win more than three games in a row this year.
They’ve beaten Cleveland twice, and they’ve beaten Orlando twice.
They just ended Detroit’s winning streak.
They lost to the Brooklyn Nets at home.
They have lost to the Utah Jazz at home.
Niki, do you know your team beats the Jazz this year in road wins?
Is it 21?
Just that one, that one, just that one At the, At the same token, they’re 4th in offense rating, 17th in defensive rating.

Which is a little flip from last year, but they are up there.
They’re tied with the Knicks for 4th place in the league in three-pointers, Three-pointers made tonight: about 15, but they’re 23rd in the NBA in fast-break points.
They’re 28th in the NBA in points in the paint.
They’re 23rd in the NBA in drives per game.
At the end of the day, you get what you get with the Celtics, and they are who they are.
So I fell down a quick rabbit hole this morning.
Celtics averaged 91.8 field-goal attempts per night.
The combination of Jalen Brown, Derrick White, and Peyton Pritchard, And Andrey Simons accounts for 66.9% of those field-goal attempts.

Even funnier is the fact that Jaylen Brown is shooting 54% on twos.
Payton Pritchard shooting 61% on twos, and Anthony Simmons shooting 50% on twos and 40% on Three’s.
What is this team?
A bunch of bucket getters who, I don’t get it.
So I don’t know what they are.
I know Jaylen Brown’s ready.
He’s 6th in the NBA in drives per game.
Leads the NBA in mid-range jump shots made, shooting 51% accuracy.
He gets to a spot, and it’s going up.
And I just feel like he’s embraced the role.
Now, how much Jalen Brown have they needed?
Would you like less?
Would you like some more?
I’m not quite sure.
And so, it’s justI’m trying to figure them out.

Does it make any sense?
I love how distraught this Celtics team is made you feel.
And distraught probably isn’t the right word, because you’ve said many positive things.
Yeah, they’re fine.
I just dont know; I dont know what theyre Thing is, and they have a thing.
But I don’t know what it is.
