Six NBA games took place overnight, but the biggest drama was seen in the game between New Orleans and Minnesota, where the guests triumphed after overtime with a score of 149:142.

Minnesota was considered the favorite, however, it failed to “break” New Orleans, who remained even throughout the match and even entered the final minute with a four-point lead (129:125).

In the decisive actions, Jaden McDaniels led the Timberwolves’ reaction, while Jeremiah Fears missed a crucial two-pointer. In the final attack, Anthony Edwards penetrated the Pelicans’ defense and scored under the basket for 129:129, sending the match into overtime.

In overtime, Julius Randle took charge, scoring 8 of Minnesota’s 20 points in overtime, and the Timberwolves recorded their 13th win of the season. New Orleans, meanwhile, suffered its 19th loss.

Edwards was fantastic with 44 points, his season high, while Rudy Gobert contributed with 18 points and 13 rebounds, Naz Reid with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists, and Randle with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. For the Pelicans, Trey Murphy was the best with 33 points and 15 rebounds.

In other games of the evening, Boston defeated New York 123:117 thanks to 42 points from Jaylen Brown.

Philadelphia triumphed over Washington 121:102, Toronto defeated Portland 121:118, San Antonio won against Memphis 126:119, and defending champions Oklahoma City defeated Golden State 124:112.
