Jeremy Sochan has been with the San Antonio Spurs for three seasons. Seems like just yesterday the Silver & Black were drafting the Baylor Bear with the ninth pick of the draft, but that was actually 2022.
The man known for his ever-changing hair color has grown into a contributor for the Spurs. One of the more physical players on the squad, Sochan is a spark, not afraid to mix it up against edgy opponents. He’s developed some low-key intimidation tactics. And when necessary, he just muscles his way into the conversation.
He’s also recognized for his one-handed free throws, an adjustment he made in regard to poor shooting at the line. The change made the difference and the unorthodox shot has stuck.
Jeremy has one more season on his contract, but he’s become an integral part of what has transpired over the past couple of years. Sochan is a fan favorite, and if you survey enough Pounders, you’ll find he’s often a “deal-breaker” in trade discussions.
Happy birthday, Jeremy.
