NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson will miss extended time with a Grade 2 right hip adductor injury.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, he is expected to be re-evaluated in three weeks.
Williamson is currently averaging 22.1 point per game (the lowest of his career), 5.6 rebounds per game and 4 assists per game for the (3-18) Pelicans.
He has appeared in 10 games this year averaging just under 31 minutes per game.
Williamson has only played in 224 out of 574 possible games in his career, including missing the entire 2021-22 season.
