There is a loaded college basketball lineup on Thursday, Dec. 4 and one of the first of three games between ranked opponents is happening at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky. where the No. 22 Louisville Cardinals are hoping to upset the No. 3 South Carolina Gamecocks and hand them a second straight loss.

This college basketball game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ESPN. South Carolina last played on Thanksgiving when it lost to No. 2 Texas, 66-64. The day prior, the Gamecocks defeated Duke, 83-66. Both games featured strong showings from Madina Okot and Joyce Edwards, with Okot getting double-doulbes in each game, and Edwards combining for 38 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists, five steals and a block across the two games. The other three starters, Tessa Johnson, Raven Johnson and Ta’Niya Latson combined for 34 points, 11 assists and four steals in the loss to Texas, which moved South Carolina to 7-1 on the season.

Louisville is 7-2 after getting three wins in three days over the past weekend. The Cardinals won all the games by blowout, with the last contest on Sunday being a 100-37 rout of Bellarmine in which everybody on Louisville scored at least 3 points. For the season, Tajianna Roberts, Laura Ziegler and Imari Berry are the top scorers for Louisville, but they have four more players averaging roughly 7 points a night or better.
