The Golden State Warriors (11-11) face the Philadelphia 76ers (11-9) Thursday. Tip-off from Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is set for 7 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Warriors vs. 76ers odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.
2024-25 season series: Tied 1-1
The Warriors fell 124-112 Tuesday, failing to cover as 11-point home dogs, to the defending-champion Oklahoma City Thunder. F Jimmy Butler had 6 points in 15 minutes and sat out the second half with a sore left knee. G Seth Curry came off the bench and scored 14 points in his debut with the team. They’re playing without superstar G Stephen Curry, who is out with a strained quad.
The Sixers covered as 13-point home faves in a 121-102 victory over the Washington Wizards Tuesday. C Joel Embiid sat out, and G Tyrese Maxey went for 35 points and 6 assists. He’s averaging a career-high 32.5 points per game, up from 26.3 last season. They’ve won 2 of 3 but have been up-and-down at 5-5 over the last 10.

Warriors at 76ers picks and predictionsPrediction
76ers 121, Warriors 115
The Warriors (+150) are so banged up. The Sixers (-185) have their own issues, too, but they still have a legitimate scorer in Maxey to lean upon.
That said, the -185 price on Philly isn’t worth the risk.
PASS.
I’ll lay the points with the 76ERS -4.5 (-110). I’d feel a whole lot better with confirmation that Embiid will play, but the Sixers are 12-7-1 against the spread (ATS) this season. Plus, the Warriors are 4-8 ATS on the road, per Teamrankings.com.
The Sixers are 3-2 O/U in their last 5, and the Warriors are, too. Neither of these teams play a ton of defense, and this number looks a little low.
Go OVER 222.5 (-110).
